Far better to make them into cushions.<br />I turned a too warm Lopi sweater into a bag, sewed the neck closed and ran it through the washer a couple of times. I have no idea how you can save these for future wear, unless you want to knit new sweaters from the yoke down. Not sure how well that would work, though.
