I know a...Don'tcha just hate it when that happens?! I know a couple of people who seem to have had some success using embroidery floss to seam knitted garments. It comes in a ton of colors so it usually matches easily enough. You might give it a try for the baby sweater so you don't have to try and find more yarn.
