The same thing just happened to me. I bough...Hah! The same thing just happened to me. I bought a huge skein of Newton Farms sock weight yarn at a fiber festival. It's variegated...autumn colors, greens, off-white, rusts, yellow. Well, half of the huge skein has more green than rust. I crocheted a triangle shawl with all of the greeny part of the skein and then trimmed it with the rusty part.
