Carrots in Maine, while at Fiber College in early September. Backlit. So lovely.
Directly lit. So, ummm, happy to see me? That's Kirsten Kapur (Through the Loops) behind them.
Being part of Fiber College is a joy, with days of almost constant motion--yet somehow this is what I love and remember it for --the early morning coffee and peace along Penobscot Bay outside our cottage.
Of course I've been knitting. And crocheting. And ripping out and re-knitting. And planning more knits. And more ripping out. And then re-knitting.....this Big Ass Granny Square ™ right here? Larger and done. More about it soon.

ps I'm teaching at Rhinebeck! That's right at the NY Sheep & Wool festival in just a couple weeks. Photo Safari. We'll wander the festival like a pack of photo hooligans*, shooting sheep and all manner of FO's. Also, more teaching, at VogueKnitting Live, in January. Info here.
*Just kidding no hooliganism. But it'll be lively.
